Quiet Moments #AtoZChallenge

...quiet moments.  Those small, peaceful, quiet moments shared with our loved ones.

We were married at the end of November, and it was about 40 degrees out.  I was freezing!  With our wedding party in tow, we shot a bunch of pictures on the college campus where my husband and I met.  This picture was a candid shot that our photographer took while we were in between shots.  It is one of my favorites.

Do you have a quiet moment that is etched in your memory?

  1. I don't believe I have a quiet moment like this, but I do like my quiet moments from time to time. However, living alone means I have my fill of them. And not enough quiet moments shared with anyone else.

  3. I've always cherished the quiet moments with my kids. When they were so little and I could rocked them to sleep. I loved those moments. I was happy to snuggle all night in the chair, just holding them.

Quiet moments in the woods, listening as the wind blew through the pine, or the sound of waves breaking on the shore. I love those moments, too.

    1. I almost posted one of my favorite pics of my daughter and husband when she was just a day old...she's just sleeping on his chest and he has this look of pure love on his face. But, I wanted to keep that one to me :) But I agree, so many small, quiet moments shared with our babies...makes me smile just thinking about them.

  4. On a trip to Maui I was dealing with the jet lag. I was up at 5:30 am and went to the balcony of the hotel room. In the distance was the sound of the ocean. I could see the stars and the moon. I could barely hear the hotel restaurant getting ready for breakfast with the sounds of silverware and plates being stacked. Not entirely "quiet" but blissful in it's peace.
