...winter wonderland! The peace of new fallen snow...the joy of a snow day at home...the magic of winter...

Do you find snow in the winter as magical as I do, or are you more of a summer person?
I love snow. When it first arrives, it's great. I wrote a poem once about how great it is to get, then how great it is to leave. My brother, my friend and I once went for a 10k walk at 2am in the middle of a blizzard because we loved the snow so much. We were dog tired when we got home around 5am. We were elated to find out schools were closed. Then, about two winters ago, my niece built a snow Dalek. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I'll have to post on my blog at some time.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see that Dalek!
DeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO MORE FREAKING SNOW UNTIL NOVEMBER POSSIBLY DECEMBER!
ReplyDeleteWhy would you do this? That's just evil given it SNOWED two days ago.

Sorry Patricia! It's been a couple of months for us here since our last snow, so the pictures weren't too traumatic for me LOL
DeleteI love snow too! Part of my post included Winter Wonderland as well! Love your porch!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kathryn! I spell my name the same as you do!
DeleteLove the idea of a winter wonderland; only winter i had in the snow was a kid.

I love the snow. Thanks for the visit Joy!
DeleteOllie and I love the snow. Then a few days later in the city it turns to an icy brown sludge you have to keep re-shovelling to get your car in and out of spots. Then its not so much fun.
