...Amazon Prime. Really, anything Amazon makes me happy...from instant watch videos to my kindle. But getting items shipped to my house within three days...hallelujah!
Sometimes Amazon Prime even makes me laugh. Like the time they sent me one bottle of nail polish in a box that could have fit about fifty bottles...and all without any bubble wrap or anything. But the Amazon Prime gods were good, and no breakage or leakage occured...miraculous.
Do you have Amazon Prime? Do you find yourself rejoicing when the UPS man rings your bell?
Hahaha! i agree there are times when Shopping Portals sends a huge box with maybe a tiny meeny product. Loved your post...!

Don't have prime? *Le Gasp!* Thanks for the visit Heather!
DeleteI live in a rural area and don't have time or money to drive to the nearest major city every time I need to buy exotic low-carb foods or Serbian-English dictionaries. Even if Amazon.com is out to get people like me (self-pubbed writers), I love their service. If only they wouldn't nag me about watching movies on Amazon Prime EVERY TIME I buy stuff from them....

Nobody is perfect...even Amazon ;) Thanks for the visit!
DeleteI love me some Amazon Prime shopping! The nail polish cracked me up. BTW, I enjoyed your short and to-the-point post this morning. I'm trying to reciprocate with some reading of others' blogs. Yours was delightful!

Thank you for the sweet comments! I'm purposely keeping my posts short and simple this year...allowing time for everybody to hop around as best they can!
DeleteI'm afraid nothing gets delivered in Egypt except utility bills. I ordered books from Amazon once. They vanished before they made it to me (along with other things over the years). But I'm super glad you enjoy your bundles of surprise! It's like Christmas, right?
ReplyDeleteLike Christmas..a few times a month :) Happy Weekend Lexa!
DeleteProud Amazon Prime member :) Thanks to them my wife and I have finally seen Mad Men and thoroughly enjoyed it too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the rest of the challenge.
Thank you!
DeleteI'm not an Amazon Prime member, but my son is and the box thing is entertaining! He got a huge box a few weeks ago with only one T-shirt inside. But I've never seen them pack something that small (like nail polish) without some bubble pack or something. Wow.
ReplyDeleteUsually the bubble wrapping is done well. I was quite surprised at this one!
Deletehaha, how funny!!
ReplyDeleteRight? That lone bottle of polish in the box just cracks me up!
DeleteI have Amazon Prime. I Love Amazon Prime.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe they sent that without anything to protect it or keep it secure? How zany is that? LOL
It's very unlike them. I'm just glad it all worked out. Thanks for the visit!
DeleteWe were only talking about how stupid packaging can be in our family the other day but that nail varnish takes the biscuit!!! Amazing it actually arrived intact but what a waste of space and packaging! Glad to find you back on the A to Z and will be following along again :)

DeleteAmazon Prime is my best friend and my husband's antagonist. I rush home and my eyes light up when I see all the boxes on the porch ( I know all the good deals I've made). I rush to hide the evidence from hubbie, who gets angry at my compulsive spending problem. He thinks I have a problem, I don't. I love your nail polish photo. While Amazon Prime is my B/F/F Amazon One Click might be the fatal flaw of my character arc. That's my story.
ReplyDeleteThat is really funny! They must have smaller boxes. Perhaps this was a test case?
