A to Z Challenge 2016

Last minute A to Z? Yes please! I've made a list, secured a theme, and officially signed up for the challenge. I can make procrastination an art form I tell ya!

My theme this year will be:

.

Original? Maybe not. But I've been in a slump lately. With the temperatures continually fluctuating, my arthritis has been kicking my ass.

I need good thoughts on my mind.
I need to smile.
I need a little happiness.

Will you be participating this year? There's still time! Head on over to Blogging from A to Z Challenge and add your name to the list. I'm number 1767!

Celebrate The Small Things -- March 11

It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!  The brainchild of ViklitCelebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.

This week I'm celebrating...

  • Sunshine...I hate when it's overcast and rainy out, and it seems like we've had too much of that lately. Emmie has been loving it...

  • Dentek floss picks...yes, I know this seems very random, but I have a hard time reaching my back teeth to floss the old school way. These floss picks make the dreaded flossing chore so much easier! I know, I'm weird. My dentist has recommended I get floss picks before, but I've held out because they've always seemed so much more expensive to me than regular floss...but I figure it's probably a lot cheaper to buy these than it is to keep getting cavities filled! Plus, having any kind of dental work gives me anxiety, so these are for my mental health too...right?

  • I got to see my daughter play in her first JV softball scrimmage! I'm just so grateful that her arm has healed up from last year (knock on wood) and she was able to try out, and make the team this year. My baby girl...I'm so proud.

What are you celebrating?
