Emmie #AtoZChallenge

...Emmie. Emmie is our dog that we rescued a year ago. To me, she's more than just a dog, she's my best friend. She has added something special to my life...something that I didn't even know was missing.

Emmie on her "gotcha day". Since she's a rescue, we can't celebrate her birthday, so we celebrate this day instead.

Dust #AtoZChallenge

...dust. Specifically, dust collecting on my walker. How easy it would have been for me to do “donuts” or “Disney” for my D post. Honestly though, sometimes the things that make us the happiest aren't always the most obvious. They are the little things, like dust settling on a device that you once needed in order to get around, that are the most joyous.

Now, if only I could be happy about the rest of the dust around my house... :)

Chocolate #AtoZChallenge

...chocolate. My mom says that one of my uncles (a wise man, I'd say) gave me my first taste of chocolate at three weeks old. This was before the whole you-can't-give-babies-anything-fun-tasting-while-they-are-still-infants thing. I'm convinced this is where my chocoholic-ness stems from. From milk chocolate to dark, but please, no peanut butter or minty crap mixed in. Just plain 'ole chocolate will do! Also, chocolate cookies, cake, ice cream, milk shakes brownies, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cocoa puffs...you get the idea.

What's sweeter than sweet? My daughter as a Hershey kiss!

Amazon Prime #AtoZChallenge

...Amazon Prime. Really, anything Amazon makes me happy...from instant watch videos to my kindle. But getting items shipped to my house within three days...hallelujah!

Sometimes Amazon Prime even makes me laugh.  Like the time they sent me one bottle of nail polish in a box that could have fit about fifty bottles...and all without any bubble wrap or anything.  But the Amazon Prime gods were good, and no breakage or leakage occured...miraculous.
