Celebrate The Small Things -- June 5

It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!  The brainchild of ViklitCelebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.  I am thrilled to co-host this wonderful bloghop!

This week I'm celebrating:
  • pizza
  • Oreos
  • Twix
Yes, the list is short and simple, but I had a crap week!  No sunshine makes Katie a grumpy girl #grumpyKat  On a happier note...my hubby loves me.  He's the one who brought me this beautiful sight...

Okay, so maybe it's not all for me...but lets celebrate my husband too!!!

What are you celebrating?

  1. One very small request to all.Now-a-days,i could see that most of the people have started to celebrate the weekend and in all the people's weekend parties, the pizza has became a most important part of the weekend treat to be celebrated. Before 10 years and all, weekend treats and parties are all enjoyed by the people who are all working in MNC's such as IT firms, various research paper writing service online websites only. My humble request to all the people who are all celebrating the weekend parties are as the pizza has not been cooked 100% it will not be good for health and so, it will not suits for all and so it is good to replace the pizza's with the cooked vegetables and soups which are all good for your health. I know it will be very hard to change but once you taste the vegetables means, then again oyu will never approach the pizzas. please try this for me once.

    1. My grandpa lived to 94...his motto was "everything in moderation". I can understand from my picture that it's looks like I don't eat well at all, but having that much junk at one time isn't very common. We usually don't buy that much junk food. It was a treat...and I celebrated it as such. Thanks for your comment and concern.

  7. Oh, those things taste good, but are so bad for you! Hate to be a meanie and bring it up. Okay, come beat me with a wet noodle for saying it. The chronic pain in my husband's legs (probably not related to your situation?) went away after we took gluten out of our diet. It eliminated the inflammation. He wasn't a believer until we tried it. In fact, he pooh-poohed the idea. But now, we seldom eat gluten and he's pain-free. Glory be for that. It's been three years, and no pain.

  8. So I stated some things badly. Of course my husband's problem and your problem are probably not similar medical issues, is what I was trying to say. But if your problem causes inflammation, and it probably does, you might want to try going wheat free for a few weeks and see if it helps. Please don't hate me for suggesting it. It might possibly make a huge difference in your life.

    1. I appreciate all suggestions as long as they come from a place of concern, and yours did :) No worries Catherine! I know I should cut down on sugars, and I usually don't have this much junk. Thank you for your comments.

  9. I'm so sorry you had a bad week. But that's why things like Oreos, Twix, and pizza are considered "comfort" foods. I hope they comforted you, and your husband's a sweetie for being your "supplier." lol
