Celebrate The Small Things -- Nov 21

It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!  Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.

Let's start my celebrations by mentioning how awesome my soaking tub is.  With all the cold weather happening, it's been nice to have a nice soak in a hot bath filled with epsom salts.  Just the thought of it makes me want to have a bath right now.

Speaking of cold weather...I'd also like to celebrate the fact that I don't live in Buffalo, NY.  As much as I love snow, the amount of snow those people are dealing with is just crazy!  I hope it slows down for them.

Stay safe Buffalo!  Here is a link if you'd like to see some incredible pictures posted from Buffalo and some pretty funny tweets.  One guy used the wall of snow as a cooler for his beer!

Lastly, but certainly not least, I'd like to celebrate my awesome hubby who gave me an early anniversary present...silicone TARDIS molds.  He knows me so well :)  Here is what I made with them...

  1. I don't suppose we could talk you into hosting a soaking tub party?Maybe hand out Cyborg soap as hostess' gifts? Hmm?
I too hope the people in Buffalo stay safe and warm. I've seen nightmare photos. Will have a look at your link. Have a pleasant weekend.

  2. Hi, Katie. I live in West Seneca, NY a suburb of Buffalo and it's been crazy here. Now were on roof watch, it's bowing terribly from the weight of the snow. We crawled out on the roof to try and scrape off 4 feet of snow.

    1. Stay safe Cathrina! I knew I remembered one of my readers was from upstate...I'll say a prayer for you. It's never a good sign when you have to shovel the snow from the roof!

  3. Thinking of upstate makes me shiver - hope all those people are staying warm. Maybe they're all spending time in their tubs...that does sound good :)

  4. Soaking tub sounds awesome.
    Enjoy that.

I live 'downstate' NY and I'm thankful that we don't have any of the lake effect snow. My aunt lives outside of Buffalo and they are drowning in it.

    1. I love snow, but there only so much one can take! I hope your aunt is okay. Thanks for the visit Heather!

  5. Love the soap, and the idea of a nice long warm soak, especially after looking at all the snow in that video. I feel so bad for all those who got buried in the storm.

  6. I'm in Western Mass and we managed to stay clear of the NY stuff. A long soak sounds nice. Enjoy!

  7. I keep telling my husband my next house HAS to have a garden tub for this very reason. I might not use it every day, but it's nice to just be able to escape to a bath every now and then!
