It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things! The brainchild of Viklit, Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.
This week I'm celebrating:
- My daughter's birthday! She turns 15 this week...my baby!
- My daughter "graduated" from allergy shots this week! To read my expanded post, click here.
- Emmie wanted me to tell all of you that she is celebrating her new backpack! She was so worn out from the excitement of it all that she needed to take a nap :)
- My new Kindle Fire! The battery on my old Kindle was dieing...mostly because I keep it plugged in a lot and apparently that is bad. Ooopsies! But I loved my first Kindle so much, that I decided to get another one. The transition was super easy...I just turned it on and hit some sync button and everything that was on my old Kindle was magically on my new one...weeeee!!!! I'm super excited for now...you know, until Skynet becomes self aware and truly takes over the world :0
- Also celebrating that our smart devices haven't become self aware... yet.
What are you celebrating?

ReplyDeleteNot having to deal with such horrible allergies is a great birthday present.
ReplyDeleteShould our electronics come alive, I hope mine like me.
My electronics will surely hate me because I have been cursing them for years now ;)
DeleteHappy birthday to your daughter!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news about a new Kindle! I'm sure when they become self-aware, I will get my butt kicked by them!
Cute puppy, so worn out!

Happy 15th to your daughter. Time really does fly, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your daughter and happy reading to you :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! My "baby" turned 14 last month. Hard to imagine. That's wonderful about your daughter's allergies! Sounds like it was grueling, but definitely worth it. Emmie looks very cute with her backpack. Have fun with the new Kindle!
ReplyDeleteMy Kindle Fire sends greetings to your Kindle Fire.... My old one died the day they had that Amazon.com sale. Since I don't have wifi out in the sticks it's a chore to get my old books back on the Kindle but since I had books on it I had to read for review, it's just as well I didn't have the option to reread a lot of old favorites instead. And happy birthday to your daughter.
