It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!
Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have
decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big
or small it is. I am thrilled to co-host this wonderful blog!
This week I'm celebrating our normal 7am family wake up time. In the grand scheme of things, 7am is pretty reasonable. And because my husband works so close to home, we can all wake up at the same time together. This week my husband needed to get into work early, and so he's been getting up at 6am...and I've been getting up at that time too! Grrrrr! What a difference an hour makes! I've been so tired and cranky all week. I can't wait to get back to our regular 7am! How did I ever wake up at 5am for work and school when I was younger???
So let's celebrate 7am and the fact that today is the ending to a long and tired week!

6 A.M. Oh my goodness! Do enjoy your sleep-in and your weekend.
ReplyDeleteRegular wake-up times are the best. My hubs usually gets up at 5:45, but I've been taking an "extra" nap until 6:15 lately - sometimes that half hour makes a difference. :)
ReplyDeleteSleeping in, for me, is 7am! So I totally get this! YAY for normal and sleeping in! *hugs* Hope all is well with you. Enjoy your weekend! <3

Hope you get a sleep in this weekend to catch up.
ReplyDeleteOh yes - one hour makes a big difference on most days (smile). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI hate getting up earlier than normal too. I feel sooo awful. But it only lasts a few hours and then I perk up (with the aid of a shower, coffee, and food!). I hope your family's schedule goes back to normal soon. Have a wonderful weekend, and Happy Valentine's Day! :)
ReplyDeleteHaving to get up earlier is a real pain, and it's really hard to make yourself go to bed earlier so you get the same amount of sleep. That doesn't always work, though. Sometimes I go to bed early and then still wake up cranky and tired if I have to get up early the next day. Normally, I get up at 5:45 to get the kids to school on time. Weekends, I sleep in until 7:30, if I can get away with it. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I don't know how you do it! 7am is way too early for me. Before I got ill and worked EMS, I worked nights. My Circadian Rhythm is just different from most people's I guess. Now being on SSDI, waking up at 8:30am for my meds is excruciating. Most of my life before EMS I worked in corporate America and would get up at 6:30am to be at work by 8:30am and it was brutal. I hated it. Nights were the best thing that ever happened to me. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling well and enjoy your Valentine's Day and the weekend. Hugs to you and as always, thanks for co-hosting. Love ya!! Eva
I'm not a morning person, so having to get up earlier would be a challenge. But changing any schedule can be hard. We all get used to our own time clock. Hope you have a restful weekend!
ReplyDeleteAn hour mades a big difference!!! Happy Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteDuring college, I sometimes had to get up at 2:30am for work. I don't know how I survived it. I know I definitely couldn't do it now.
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the comments! I haven't been on my pc to comment, so I'll be visiting you all this weekend!
