Celebrate The Small Things -- March 20

It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!  The brainchild of ViklitCelebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.  I am thrilled to co-host this wonderful bloghop!

This week I'm celebrating walking!  I got my walking cast on this Tuesday, after the x-rays showed that my fusion is healing the way it should.  I will be partially weight bearing for the next couple of weeks until I feel comfortable to be full weight bearing.  Yay for walking!!  Who cares that I'm slower than my husband's ninety something year old grandmother?!?!

What are you celebrating?

  8. Look at that awesome blue cast! It's such a cheerful color. I'm so happy that you're on the road to recovery. I bet it'll be wonderful to be at least partially weight-bearing now and the time will fly by and suddenly you'll be full weight-bearing. Have a lovely weekend! :)

  11. Oh, my gosh...I had stopped celebrating (just the blog); but looking at your brave pictures, I know I need to do more of it hopping about happily as if I were still 30 (we all have our delusions).
I can only send you my best wishes and hope you will be dancing again soon.

  12. Thank God everything is healing as it's supposed to! Congratulations on walking again, even if you are slower than great-great-great grandma! JK, my love. Xoxoxo. You know how we roll. Nothing gets us down and we're like the Energizer Bunny, we keep going and going and going! Definitely worth celebrating! Love ya, girl! Eva
