It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!
Celebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have
decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big
or small it is. I am thrilled to co-host this wonderful blog!
This week I'm celebrating a new discovery...a Quest Lab that is right in my town! Because I have medicines that I take on a daily basis, I usually need to get my blood levels checked every year just to make sure everything is okay with my liver, kidneys, etc. For the past several years I've gone to the Quest lab that is a 15 minute drive from my house...not too far. But last night, while I was Googling to see what time the lab opened, an in town address came up...there is another Quest lab only 5 minutes from my house! I know it's quite early, but I think this is the best find of the year ;) Leave it to me to excited about a shorter commute to a lab LOL

I'd also like to celebrate Vikki, our wonderful host of Celebrate the Small Things. She will be stepping down as host, but will still be celebrating with us as much as she can. If you get a chance, please stop by her blog @ Scribblings of an Aspiring Author and tell her how wonderful she is :) Thanks for all you have done Vikki!
And many thanks to my other co-hosts for all of their efforts over the past year or so... Diana Wilder, LG Keltner @ Writing Off the Edge, Me :) @ TheCyborgMom, and CaffeMaggieato @ mscoffeehouse. Diana and Maggie will be retiring, and LG and I will continue to co-host. Please visit them all and show them some love!

Wonderful celebrations!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAnything that makes your life easier is worth celebrating!
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteYou make me laugh with the "leave it to me to be excited..." line. And why shouldn't someone be happy a lab is only 5 minutes away? Travelwise, that nets you an extra 20 minutes in your day - and we need all the minutes we can get. Thanks for the lovely post and introduction and posting the new linky! :)
ReplyDeleteYour welcome Lexa! Thanks again for taking on this responsibility!
DeleteHey, I think a shorter drive to a lab is definitely worth celebrating!
ReplyDeleteA shorter drive anywhere! haha!
DeleteReally - "15 minutes could save you money on your car insurance." (smile). Couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteI'll be rejoining the blog hop this coming week.
You crack me up Dixie! Welcome back!
DeleteNever heard of a Quest Lab, but I don't need anything like that since my insurance plan provides what I need in that respect. I'm thankful that I still have my plan and hope it doesn't get too much for my wife's job to afford to provide us. Now if our lab was only 5 minutes away we'd be set.

Tossing It Out
Thanks for visiting my blog Arlee!
DeleteThat's pretty awesome! I have to travel a bit to get to my lab, so I can appreciate having one nearby.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! ;)
Nice to meet you too Kelley! Thanks for stopping by!
