It's Six Word Saturday time...
Used advent candles on birthday cake.
Yup, yesterday was my daughter's birthday and when the time came for doing the cake, we couldn't find any birthday candles. So we improvised and used advent candles. The benefits of being Catholic :)

Happy birthday to your daughter! Advent candles may not typically be used on birthday cakes, but it looks like they worked just fine!

I'm not certain about the significance of Advent candles but maybe it gave the birthday a more sacred meaning. No matter though as long as Birthday Girl had a good time.
