Used advent candles on birthday cake.
Yup, yesterday was my daughter's birthday and when the time came for doing the cake, we couldn't find any birthday candles. So we improvised and used advent candles. The benefits of being Catholic :)

I'm not certain about the significance of Advent candles but maybe it gave the birthday a more sacred meaning. No matter though as long as Birthday Girl had a good time.
