It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!
Celebrate
The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have
decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big
or small it is.
This week I'm celebrating travel size stuff. I have a couple of different compound creams that I use topically for my neck and ankles/feet and since I'm traveling in a few weeks, I wanted to be able to take my creams with me without the hassle of the TSA (I hate the TSA--but that's a whole other post). So I called the two companies that supply them and asked if I could get small, travel size refills so I could put them in my ziploc baggie full of other liquids for my carry on. Ask and you shall receive!
They are like little baby medicines. So cute! And bonus...I can pop one in my purse! No more worries about being without my medicine if I'm out all day. Total score.
Happy Weekend!

I travel a lot & know the pain of the TSA. Glad you're covered.
ReplyDeleteI don't travel a lot because of money and my medical problems. But when I do...oh joy! The TSA is horrific...don't even get me started!
DeleteI love being able to fit a lot of necessary things in a small, travel-sized pouch! Those travel regulations can be quite pesky sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI always have a hard time packing full that little ziploc baggie! LOL Hopefully, this will help.
DeleteUgh! I'll join you on that TSA rant and maybe we'll end up with a book. Glad you figured it out.
ReplyDeleteI definitely have enough material for a book! LOL
DeleteCute little pots :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they? I'm a sucker for mini things. I bought a travel size toothbrush and toothpaste for my trip as well. Don't ever let me near the travel size section of Target...I could spend hours!
DeleteVery nice! I always visit the cosmetic counters and ask for samples when I have to travel.
ReplyDeleteLove mini, small, and travel size stuff!
DeleteCongrats! Stuff in tubes are usually something to celebrate about. Lotions, paints, pain relief cream... Being an artist, I thought they were paints when I saw the picture. I got all excited at first, as I'm sure you were when you saw them. As long as it's not used as a suppository, I'd say that all stuff in tubes are something to celebrate.
ReplyDelete^^^This last sentence just cracked me up!
DeleteI have to get some of those refillable travel items. I'm always trying to "decant" product into mini containers, and then they leak. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteAnything that is leak-able always goes into a ziploc...even when I'm not traveling by plane. It's not so bad if it's shampoo, because that's at least soap and can be washed out. But lotion or gel...yup, that's happened to me!
DeleteGlad you could get what you needed. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori!
DeleteI'm a sucker for travel-size things. They're so cute! Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one! :)
DeleteGreat results with the travel-size products. If you don't ask...
ReplyDeleteRight? It can never hurt to ask!
