Celebrate The Small Things -- May 22

It's Friday and I'm Celebrating The Small Things!  The brainchild of ViklitCelebrate The Small Things is a weekly celebration where some bloggers have decided to post about something worth celebrating...no matter how big or small it is.  I am thrilled to co-host this wonderful bloghop!

Between the on and off rain killing my bones, and my therapist being harder on me, I've had a tough week.  Even so, there is always something to celebrate.

This week I'm celebrating:
  • Twix bars...life is always better with chocolate!
  • Online shopping.  Since I'm not really up to shopping like most normal people do, I really appreciate shopping from the comfort of my own bed.  This week I received a nail polish collection that I ordered from eBay.  Can't wait to try one on this weekend...mint green or grape purple first???
  • Emmie's vet and their staff.  These people are great...they love Emmie and Emmie seems to love everyone who works in their office.  I wish I could bring my kids to them...I like them better than my kids' pediatricians!
  • Emmie's yogurt face...think milk moustache...except in reverse... and with yogurt LOL

Emmie's yogurt face...can you see it on her chin?

What are you celebrating?

  2. Oh, Katie, sorry to hear about the weather affecting you. Twix are great, and I also love M&ms when I'm in pain.

I think I would paint the purple, then add a tiny green apple shape on top! Got yogurt? That's cute!

  3. Cute Emmie photo! I've never heard of a yogurt moustache, or beard in this case. I love Twix. My daily after-dinner dessert is a Mini-Twix. Hits the spot. I hope next week goes better for you! Have a great weekend!

  8. Oh yes, life with chocolate is good! I'd go for the purple grape - but maybe that's just my purple obsession talking. Emmie is soo cute.

  12. I know what you mean that some vets seem to be just so much more in touch with people's feeling than children's doctors!! I've known some really lovely vets over the years with my succession of cats so it's good to know you've got good ones looking after Emmie. In her photo, I think she actually looks like the "cat who got the cream" rather than the yoghurt - she knows she's fallen on her feet arriving in your household :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
